Stevenson Consulting, a full-service engineering consulting firm operating in the Mid-Atlantic and Gulf region of the US since 1984, is seeking a Construction Services Manager to join our Richmond, VA team.
Responsibilities:
- Operational management of a branch office
- Able to step in and assist field personnel with construction testing and inspections
- Development and implementation of the construction quality control programs
- Assisting with business development activities, including estimating and proposal preparation
- Recruitment and development of professional, technical, and administrative personnel
- Client maintenance
- Project management and Profit & Loss responsibility
- Assisting with invoicing and collections
- Enforcement of company operating procedures and policies
- Subconsultant management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, or in Construction Management
- Experience with geotechnical and construction materials testing services preferred
- Highly organized, self-motived individual with proven leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Local candidates with knowledge of Mid-Atlantic business and industry practices preferred
