CTI Consultants, Inc. started as a one-person firm in 1984 with structural roots. We have grown over the past 38 years from a family business to a corporation that keeps those same family values it was founded on. We have built our reputation on client responsiveness and accountability while maintaining outstanding technical ability, accuracy and integrity on a wide range of project types. With our “no surprises” approach when producing customized fees, we have shown our commitment to building long lasting relationships throughout the years.
Using these values, we have expanded into a firm with a footprint throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Gulf Coast which is continually growing organically and by acquisition. We have evolved our service lines to a full concept-to-completion engineering model. This allows us to service all aspects of a project with one point of contact under one roof and make our clientele’s experiences seamless and hassle-free.
This growth and service line expansion has led to the decision to rebrand ourselves to better reflect the wide range of services we provide. Going forward, we will be known as Stevenson Consulting, Inc.
Although the brand changes, our firm will continue to excel using the same values, same commitment to service and the same great people to continue building long-lasting relationships.

From the very beginning of our company, we have pushed the front lines of innovation. We were one of the first companies in the DC market to offer 3rd party code inspections. Nationwide, we pioneered providing whole building air barrier testing and we’ve lead our industry in offering building envelope commissioning services. We hire ambitious professionals to bring new ideas to the table as we continue to look for the next “new” thing that can be combined with our current service lines to enhance the industry.
