The Wharf is a mixed‐use development project comprised of 24-acres stretching along one mile of the historic Washington Channel. The new waterfront site includes restaurants, shops, condominiums, hotels, entertainment venues, a park, and an expanded riverfront promenade with public access to the water. The bike and pedestrian‐friendly area is to become a commercial anchor for the community and a popular attraction for visitors from around the world.
Phase 1 includes 648 apartments, 240 condos, 2 hotels, 435,000 sf of office space, 200,000 sf of retail/restaurant space, 140,000 sf of event space, 1,300 bike parking spaces, and an underground parking facility with 1,600 parking spaces.
Phase 2 includes 360 apartments, 124 condos, 130,000 sf of retail, 480,000 sf of office space, a marina with 450 slips, and 965 parking spaces.
Phase 1 opened in October 2017 and Phase 2 opened in summer of 2018.
