This project consisted of the renovation of the brick façade on the east and west sides of the building, and parking decks for a 14-story Federal Building in Roanoke, Virginia. It included the installation of new exterior security features, concrete repair in areas where concrete was aging and spalled, structural steel repair, paving, and other related renovations.
The project was notable in the use of an automated bricklaying machine, which was able to lay approximately 3,000 bricks per day on the façade.
